Dear Editor,
I wish to thank LIME for the excellent service they provide to customers.
Exactly four weeks ago my home phone went dead. It was promptly reported to the telephone company which inquired if anyone would be at home between 8 am and noon. They would attend to check on same. They were told "yes". Needless to say no one attended. After mid-day they inquired if anyone would be there after 1 pm. Answer "yes". Still no one attended.
When further contacted Customer Service politely explained that they did not attend because they realised that the problem was not at my home, but was an internal one at their exchange and that it was receiving attention.
That information was given to me more than two weeks ago.
Presumably it is still receiving attention or one wonders if it is insoluble because the phone remains dead awaiting its day of resurrection.
Let me not be ungracious. Let me give credit where it's due. The telephone company unquestionably excels in one area - dispatching bills - never any failure to send them out whether or not the phones work.
