Dear Editor,
This is an open letter to Dr Fenton Ferguson, minister of health:
I humbly suggest that the Golden Spring Health Centre, which have been recently built at significant cost, be officially opened for the utility of the public which it is intended to serve.
While it sits there unoccupied, the residents of the community continue to suffer. All this while we know that the facility invariably now has to accrue climbing maintenance costs.
As we await the tender process to the award of a contract to equip the clinic, go ahead and open the consultation section with a view to utilise material and equipment from the old health facility in the urgent interest of meeting the needs of the people.
