Dear Editor,
I like that the Jamaica Observer features plenty of community stories, it gives a glimpse of what's happening in our rural towns and districts.
So much is being done by individuals and organisations to improve the lives of so many and the Observer should be commended for bringing so many of these stories to us readers.
It would be nice if the Observer could find a way to bring us up to date on some of these big project announcements by Government from time to time, most of which we never seem to hear much about after the cameras leave.
The Ocho Rios $500-m beautification project announced a while back, what's the status of that project now? The construction of new sidewalks and beautification in Negril, which was announced by Minister McNeill, several months ago, any word?
