Dear Editor,

Recently I heard this gentleman on Barry G's show share a story about a little schoolboy in May Pen who found $100,000 that had fallen from him and brought it to him. The man was extremely shocked, knowing that this was not a normal response (especially in Jamaica where it 'tough').

When the man recovered and asked the little boy why he took the money to him, the little boy's response was: "Ah no fi mi own, Sar!"

So simple.

So obvious to the little boy. The money was not his, and it was the simple and obvious truth to the little boy.

If the current National Housing Trust (NHT) board was asked that question as it relates to the Outameni transaction, would they give the same response? Does the NHT money belong to the board? Are they allowed to do as they please with that which is not theirs? Where is our integrity?

Our Government — both sides of the House — have been doing this act of simply spending the nation's resources as they please, and getting away with it. But God is not sleeping. He has promised to raise up leaders of integrity to manage the resources of this nation that are yet to be discovered.

Current leaders, you have been judged and found wanting!

Leaders of this nation, you need to say the same: 'Ah no fi mi money to do as mi please wid it'.
