Dear Editor,
It is said that the devil does not like holy water, and people like Greg Christie and Everald Warmington are like holy water and will never be popular by those among us who, like the devil, permeate our society.
Our hope should be that the JLP will put matters right so that Mr Warmington, a man of honour, discipline, who has respect for the rule of law and a man after my own heart will not have to take the matter back to court.
Incidentally, the first person I successfully defended was a man charged at a mock trial at the Number 7 branch in Bustamante's constituency at the time, and I had been repeatedly approached since to represent several constituencies. I refused because I thought representational politics was too corrupt and my late beloved wife, from whom I took final orders, agreed with me and said that I could not "be mixed up" with some of those people, so would not give me permission, in any case. Now I am far too old and constitutionally incompetent with dual citizenship. It is said the more things change, the more they remain the same. Hence the malignment by some of Mr Warmington, a warrior for justice and the maintenance of honour of his party.
