Dear Editor,
Traversing Washington Boulevard since last week, I have noticed reflectors on the road from Dunrobin Avenue, all the way down that busy thoroughfare.
So, instead of fixing the street lights or getting proper ones that work, the authorities put up reflectors all over the road. Proper lighting is needed on this busy road. Driving on this stretch of road, you can hardly see pedestrians crossing. People who have to walk along this road are fearful because the road is so dark and they can be preyed upon by thieves.
Thank you for the reflectors, but they cannot help with these problems. Please fix the streetlights on Washington Boulevard.
