Dear Editor:
I was listening to FAME FM on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, when I heard the following at 7:46 am: "She said get inside of me," and "especially when I go down on her". This apparently from the song Ayo by Chris Brown featuring Tyga.
These lyrics clearly reference sexual intercourse; the woman is asking the man to enter her. And, clearly, "especially when I go down on her" referenced oral sex, since "go down" in Hip-Hop culture is giving oral sex.
Is it that the disc jock is so unaware of the terms and references of the hip hop culture why he felt that it was appropriate for that partially edited version of the song to be aired?
The operators of FAME FM breached the Children's Code for Programming, Graphic Sexual Content (S2) (C), and section 30 (D) of the Television and Sound Broadcasting Regulations.
