Dear Editor,
We know Usain Bolt is revered and loved everywhere. He is successful and wealthy, he is also not a kid, but a grown man near 30.
That "Jinx" made the post on social media it must be out of frustration, and anyone who has ever had noisy or disruptive neighbours, ie "neighbors from hell", will understand exactly where she's coming from.

People will have different tolerance levels for different things and deal with things differently. So, although one neighbour may be able tolerate and ignore it, another may not.
When you move somewhere, you always try to adapt and fit into the new neighborhood and its culture, no one should ever feel entitled without also showing some consideration. Either way, bad behaviour should not be condoned, no matter who the person is.
Some of the backlash to Jinx's comments were nasty and crude, far worse than what Jinx said. And to suggest that she was being classist is absurd, she merely vented briefly and informally on social media. Her only wish was that Bolt would move out of the neighbourhood. Frankly, I dont know any Jamaican anywhere who wouldn't welcome the idea of "Usain Bolt" living next door.
But long before Jinx went public, I've also heard things about his behaviour at parties. For someone who has the prestigious titles of ambassador and honourable, he could be more aware and circumspect. At the end of the day, we must all show social responsibility, consideration, and respect.
