Fears realised

Dear Editor,

Recently I received an e-mail from LIME/Flow relating to the frequent disruptions and slow browsing speed for Internet services that I have been experiencing lately. Despite not providing any information on the cause of the disruptions or when regular service was likely to resume, they did manage to take the time to advise me that the "now combined LIME/Flow network is fully capable of fulfilling all of your fixed voice, data and video service needs".

It seems to me that LIME/Flow is preempting the logical assumption that this merger was hastily put together.

When the best they can do is advise me to check my computer to see if I have a virus in response to the disruptions in service I can only form the view that, despite being addressed as a valued customer, my fears that this merger will only negatively affect the consumer may be realised.
