Does Munroe only have strength for Holness?

Dear Editor,

Since Trevor Munroe has taken it upon himself to be Jamaica’s barometer on integrity, it would be good if he could declare his association with the infamous Workers Party of the 1970s for the benefit of Jamaicans born in that decade and later.

For his nowadays pious, pope-like persona has left me to wonder if he has a double.

His constant harping for disclosure on everything not related to the People’s National Party has only served to lay bare his allegiance.

Is he not concerned about the Trafigura matter? Has he seen reports about the deeds of those charged with presiding over public resources at the Hanover Parish Council?

Again, we hear Munroe calling on Prime Minister Andrew Holness to declare his financials. Seems he doesn’t realise that the prime minister is only one of 63 members of the legislature.

I strongly believe in full disclosure by every member of Parliament. That, for me, would signal a new day in Jamaica.

Then again, Munroe might disagree as he seemingly only has strength for Holness.
