Dear Editor,

Another reggae king has left us. The great Prince Buster has gone on to another planet, and we sincerely hope it’s the heavenly one.

Prince Buster will surely be missed by many, but we are happy to know that his music is still with us. He was truly a great singer and many of us are deeply and truly in love with many of his songs.

Three of his songs that I love best are Judge Dread, The Ten Commandments, and Hard Man Fi Dead.

Prince Buster was a genius, a man of dignity who was highly respected, and had a good reputation.

When he met the late Muhammad Ali, he was converted to the Nation of Islam.

I remember when he was being interviewed by the late Neville Willoughby on the programme called Pipe Line on RJR, many years ago. And Muhammad Prince Buster did ‘come real good’ in that interview.

I respect singers like Prince Buster because his music is clean and tidy like a neat and tidy room. Clean music is a blessing to Jamaica.

So, one love, one blood to Prince Buster; sleep well, your work is over.
