Dear Editor,
Having visited your beautiful island with my wife and spending over 450 nights at Sandals Grande Ocho Rio I have grown to love Jamaica. The property is fantastic, but the streets tell a different story.
I have sadly come to the conclusion, though, that Jamaica is too good for a lot of its citizens.
I have never seen as much litter all over the place, mainly food cartoons and plastic bottles, as I have on this current visit.
If your Government puts a tax on non-biodegradable packaging it would soon solve the problem.
Also they could pay your unemployed to tidy the place up. Giving them, say, fifty dollars per full sack might also help your crime figures, in fact, it could pay for itself.
This would bring Jamaica back to being the most beautiful country in the world.
