Dear Editor,
Can't you see that the minister of finance in the Turks and Caicos Islands is taking all of us for a fool? Back in my days in the countryside I used to hear my mother say some people were playing fool fi ketch wise. I didn't get the opportunity to go to university, but from what he says, he does not want foreigners in his country, he only wants what he can get from them.
I would not say we in Jamaica should start doing what that minister in the TCI says, but although Jamaica is struggling, we treat foreigners nice and don't let them feel unwelcome.
Mr Misick wrote in your paper that he was living in Jamaica and no one caused him to feel like a foreigner. Look at that!
I would like to see the minister and his friends using more good sense towards people who are making a proper contribution to his country and stop behaving like he is from the dark ages. If not, all the foreigners should leave his country and see what he will do.
