Dear Editor,
I am about to start university at the end of next month and as a young person witnessing the living and breathing reality of limited opportunities for my generation, in terms of job prospects after university, let alone the exorbitant cost of an education, it is all highly discouraging.
I think about the poor people who have to take a student loan and, after completing studies, not getting jobs to repay the amounts; it is disheartening. What's the point? Why bother go to university then?
This is an increasingly grim issue and the youth are either losing or have no faith in their leaders on both sides of the fence. This, too, is a cause for concern, as, remember, we are the ones next in line.
