No money unaccounted for under Holness’s watch

Dear Editor,

I clearly understand why the People’s National Party (PNP) is uncomfortable with Opposition Leader Andrew Holness building his mansion. The PNP doesn’t want anyone to have anything. The party, therefore, must not be in favour of prosperity and only wants to see poverty.

The PNP should come to the realisation that citizens of Jamaica have had enough of their self-serving attitude and everyone wants prosperity.

It is fitting for the PNP to admit that Opposition Leader Andrew Holness has been a member of parliament for 18 years, education minister for four years, and prime minister for 74 days, as this means he has worked hard to build his dream house.

With all the talk against Holness, none can say that any money was unaccounted for while the Jamaica Labour Party was managing the country’s affairs; no light bulb saga, no Trafigura, no Finsac.

The PNP currently has a one-term MP building a mansion, while others have more than one dream houses.

When will the People’s National Party focus on managing the country’s affairs and take the country out of the deplorable state it’s in now?
