Dear Editor,

As a virgin to voting, I am overly impressed with the professionalism of Imani Duncan-Price’s campaign that is taking place in St Andrew East Rural.

Let me first declare that I am not a resident of that constituency. However, her presence is felt far outside that area. The quality of her social media productions are truly first class.

It is extraordinary the level of organisation and seeming meticulous preparation that Duncan-Price and her team appear to be devoting to the political race.

I did a quick

Google check on her and most of my questions were answered as to why she seems to be operating so efficiently. I was very captivated with the many accomplishments of this clearly driven young woman. At her relatively young age she has contributed more to nation-building than many who could be compared to person of similar age and background.

Among her accomplishments, she has peace ambassador, environmental activist, AIDS fighter & policy writer, youth advocate, and regional strategy executive. It is quite evident that Imani has a very defined history of nation-building.

I usually judge a person’s credibility by their body of work. Duncan-Price’s achievements tell us that she will make an excellent member of parliament. My one problem as a voting newbie is that I don’t have an Imani in my constituency.
