Dear Editor,
Over seven weeks ago I made public allegations of collusion and conspiracy against the principal legal office of the Government and both prosecutorial agencies of the State; that is, the Attorney General’s Department, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), and the Office of the Commissioner of Police.
Given the nature of the allegations I have made, and the departments of government accused, it is most conspicuous that there have been no denials, no cease and desist orders, no orders of withdrawal, or any threat of legal action for baseless and unfounded allegations against the State.
My unchallenged accusations against the State made reference to wrongs committed by agents of the State. And, the redressing of those wrongs goes to the heart of the restoration of my reputation and financial well-being.
Importantly, the critical element in having the wrongs rectified and my reputation restored, relates to a personal written request I made to the Office of the DPP on July 8, 2015 asking advice on how I may initiate a private prosecution of a senior member of Government.
The Office of the DPP has been silent on my request for over six months. And, prior to December 1, 2015 that Office had maintained that they had the exclusive right, via a fiat, for the comencement of a private prosecution.
In light of the recent ruling of the Attorney General’s Department that any private citizen can prosecute for a crime allegedly committed, without the consent of the Office of the DPP, the Office of the the DPP is hereby challenged to publicly declare, via this medium, if I need a fiat from them to start a private prosecution in pursuit of the recovery of my reputation.
