Dear Editor,
I was pleased to see the church gathering once again in Half-Way-Tree to cry out to God to rescue our island from demonic spirits that come in the form of murder, rape, perversion, false pride, and the list goes on.
I was a part of the cry out for Jamaica. We must believe that, “A nation without God’s guidance is a nation without order. Happy are those who keep God’s law.” (Proverbs 29:18)
My fellow Jamaicans, please be in the know so that we can be on the battlefield against evil. Other countries that are enacting laws contrary to God’s will are presently sliding down a slippery path. I am terrified to mention some of the things they are introducing into schools for children to participate in. My heart trembles with fear, but I remain firm, because I know that my God is still in charge.
Fellow Christians, we must remember Luke 24:47: “Repentance and forgiveness of sins must be preached to all nations beginning in Jerusalem.” Not some nations, but to all nations.
Fellow Christians, the holy scriptures tell us clearly that “some people will abandon the faith in later times, they will obey lying spirits, and follow the teachings of demons. Such teachings are spread by deceitful liars, whose consciences are dead as if burnt with a hot iron.”
We more so must shine our light and call people to repentance. We also have a duty as Christians in these last days.
