I have noticed that many people are deliberating where the Usain Bolt statue should be erected. But, has anyone ever asked Usain Bolt where he would like it to be erected?
Many would expect it to be everywhere except Sherwood Content where he is from. I strongly believe, though, that it should be erected in his community. Even if the Government decides to put one in Kingston, something should be in his community to show generations to come. This could start community tourism in the area where this legendary son of the soil was born and is deeply rooted.
