Dear Editor,
The entire nation is in a frenzy as each party wants to win, but we can only have one winner and this evening we will all know the result.
I must say, however, that this campaign was not worth the stress. People died, places got ‘shot up’, people were hanging from vechicles, and money was issued without any work done within all this excitement.
Tomorrow people will still be hungry, they will still need jobs, they will still be taxed with much more to come. My fellow citizens of Jamaica, wake up, the politicians don’t have to scratch their backs for anything; but we have to. We need to realise that they take us for fools, and they will not stop unless we start thinking wisely for ourselves.
Whoever wins, though, congratulations.
